In November 2018, Mayor Rahm Emanuel attended a ribbon cutting ceremony, along with 28^th Ward Alderman Jason Ervin, city officials, VIPs and residents, to celebrate the completion of extensive rehabilitation of a 153-unit single room occupancy (SRO) community in Chicago’s East Garfield neighborhood.

The completion of this project underscores the developer’s commitment to the preservation of affordable housing throughout the city.  The recent renovations enhance the living experience at the property, as well as the operational efficiency of the building.

We were called upon by the developer’s public relations firm to coordinate this high-profile ribbon cutting event.
