The annual Ruth Page Legacy Gala at the Union League Club supports and promotes the center’s educational, artistic, and outreach programs.

Peter Sagal of NPR’s “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me” served as host for the evening.

The gala began with a cocktail hour in the Crystal Room, followed by an evening of performances, silent auction, raffle, live music and the presentation of the Ruth Page Award in the Lincoln Ballroom.

Honoree Lauren Anderson danced with the Houston Ballet from 1983 to 2006, performing leading roles in all the great classical ballets, appearing across the world to critical acclaim, and becoming one of Houston Ballet’s most beloved stars.
