The annual Ruth Page Legacy Gala supports and promotes the center’s educational, artistic and outreach programs.

The event began with electrifying performances at the Ruth Page Center. Bill Kurtis and Peter Sagal of NPR’s “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me” served as hosts.

Guests then walked (or took a complimentary Pedi Cab ride) a block to The Newberry for cocktails, dinner and dancing. The crowd enjoyed live jazz during the cocktail reception and a dance party later on led by DJ Lady D.

An incubator of artistic energy, The Ruth Page Center for the Arts carries forward the mission and vision of its founder, legendary dance icon Ruth Page, to be a platform for developing great artists and connecting them with audiences and community.
