We coordinated the grand opening celebration of a much-anticipated privately developed, publicly accessible park in Chicago’s Lakeshore East neighborhood.
The event showcased the vibrant space with music, giant bubbles, giveaways from area businesses for pups and their humans, and carnival-style eats.
Elaborate balloon decorations added a festive touch. A delightful “bubble lady” enchanted young and old alike with giant bubbles, streams of bubbles and cluster bubbles. Many visitors brought their dogs to enjoy the new dog park, and a pet photographer captured images of humans with their beloved four-legged friends.
We planned the event to showcase the park’s long, gentle ADA-accessible sidewalk switchbacks framing beautifully landscaped terraced lawns and passive wellness sculptures. The sloping urban oasis provides a new public connection between Harbor Drive and the Chicago lakefront trail.
