We were honored to plan a grand opening event at Straits Row, an 18-story, 132-unit residential building in Chicago’s historic Printers Row neighborhood.
The evening included a ceremonial ribbon cutting, property tours, specially curated food and drink, and music featuring a DJ and renowned electric violinist Rachael Miller. An interactive Nitro Ice Cream station offered a tasty treat, as well as a visually impressive “fog” effect. Guests were the first to view a just-completed mural overlooking the ground-level outdoor lounge.
Servers passed a welcome drink named the Straits Row Mule. On the rooftop, we offered a signature margarita cocktail we dubbed The Neighbor-Rita. Passed hors d’oeuvres included a mini bao; ceviche; lobster, shrimp and crab shumai; and beef tenderloin on an herb popover.
